Chris Andersen, a frequent performer at Nimb in recent years, has collaborated with various artists, including American jazz vocalist Vanisha Gould, with whom he toured last year. He is also a member of the Sonic Soul Trio, alongside Mathias Bøttern on guitar and Jonathan Wøhlk on bass, delivering a captivating fusion of jazz and soul.
On this evening, they will once again be joined by the talented vocalist Anna Møller. Together, they will perform a mix of timeless soul classics and modern hits from artists such as Marvin Gaye, Bee Gees, Billie Eilish, and other iconic names of our time.

19 February – Frederikke Vedel & The Blue Silhouettes
The Danish folk-jazz quartet Frederikke Vedel & The Blue Silhouettes invites you on an emotional journey with their original English-language songs. Their unique sound blends playful jazz, melodic singer-songwriter elements, and melancholic Nordic folk music, creating a captivating tapestry of sound. Each song tells a story, exploring life's highs and lows – from joy and hope to disappointment, dreams, loss, and love. Their music invites listeners to immerse themselves in emotions and moods we can all recognise and relate to.
The band’s name, The Blue Silhouettes, reflects their approach to creating music: the colour blue is associated with the sky and the sea, symbolising freedom, intuition, imagination, and inspiration. Silhouettes, on the other hand, evoke mystery and curiosity about the unknown, only hinted at in outlines.
Lineup: Frederikke Vedel (vocals), Johann Gustav (piano), Jakob Roland (bass), Henrik Holst (drums)
