Nimb Tastings - The Macallan Whiskey
It’s time for Nimb Bar’s third exclusive tasting of 2025, featuring the renowned Scottish whisky, The Macallan.
Founded in 1824, The Macallan Distillery is celebrated worldwide for its exceptional single malt whiskies. Its unparalleled quality and distinctive character reflect a relentless dedication to the craft of whisky-making, a hallmark of The Macallan since its founding by Alexander Reid 200 years ago on the banks of the River Spey in north-eastern Scotland.
Guiding us through the evening, we are pleased to welcome Jonas Gram, Brand Ambassador for The Macallan in the Nordics. Since joining The Macallan in 2017, Jonas has gained recognition for his expertise in the world of whisky, holding a diploma in single malt whisky from the Edinburgh Whisky Academy.
Look forward to immersing yourself in the fascinating world of whisky and discovering how weather, climate, aging, and barrel selection influence the flavour of each whisky.
During the evening, we will taste the following three whiskies:- The Macallan Sherry Oak 18-Year-Old
- The Macallan Time Space Mastery
- The Macallan Sherry Oak 25-Year-Old
Alongside the tasting, a selection of finger foods will be served. To round off the experience, we’ll offer a cocktail crafted with The Macallan Double Cask 12, created by Nimb’s talented bar team.

The Macallan X Nimb Dinner
The Macallan x Nimb invites you to an exquisite tasting and dinner in the elegant Nimb Mirror Lounge, located at the far end of Nimb Brasserie.
The evening begins in Nimb Bar, where our skilled bar team will serve our signature whisky cocktail, Robin Hood, crafted with The Macallan Double Cask 12.
Following this, guests will enjoy a seasonal three-course menu accompanied by a curated The Macallan whisky tasting between courses.
During dinner, we will sample these three exceptional whiskies:- The Macallan Sherry Oak 18yo
- The Macallan Time Space Mastery
- The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 2020/ESH – 12808/01
The latter whisky is one of only 288 bottles ever produced, making this evening an extraordinary experience at the pinnacle of the whisky world.
